I need to find some new arrows. My setup currently is a 55lb lb (bear montana) 30" 2018 w/125gr tip. Shoots good. I would like a combo with carbons and either 50gr or 100gr brass inserts and 125gr tip. I've tried the CE 45/70 terminators, but they will only shoot well uncut full length. Any ideas on a 30" shaft that may work?

Thanks,

Chris

I might suggest Grizzly Stiks, the Sitka,or Alaskan.  The Alaskan comes with Brass inserts when pruchased from Alaskan Archery Supply.  I have a 2 dozen Alaskans for me and a Dozen Sitkas for my girl.  We both love them, they will most likely tune for  you just using the regular inserts when shooting 145 or heavier point.

Maybe give the cx heitage 150's a shot.  Pardon the pun.

I would say the Heritage 150 cut to 30"s with 200-225 up front would fly well for ya. You will have to experiment a bit with point weight. Shawn

Goldtip 35/55s should work with the inserts.

goldtip 35/55s with some 20 and 50 grain weights that screw into the back of the insert.you should be able to work up a combo with them.
'TGMM FAMILY of THE BOW"at 211 degrees water is hot.at 212 it boils and cause's steam, which can run a locomotive.is it worth that one extra ounce of effort to finish first, the difference between good and great?
