What affect on an arrow does moving the knocking point up and down have?

Also what affect does it have on an arrow adjusting the brace height up or down?

Dave Coalter

Moveing your knock point up and down on string you will notice that your arrow will start to porpuse some. Adjusting your brace height, to much brace hight will cut down on the string travel on your arrow, will give your arrow more of a snap off the string, and will cut down a little on your arrow speed.

Taking your brace up or down affects how noisy your bow is as well.  Thus, the "sweet spot" we search for of minimum noise and most efficient performance...

Moving the nock up lowers the point of impact on the target.

Thanks for all the help guys. This forum is awesome for traditional newbees (like me)

Raising your brace will make an arrow shoot weaker and slower. Lowering will make an arrow shoot stiffer and faster.
