Hi Gang.
I am new to the board and fairly new to archery in general. I have a ben Peirson recurve (45# @ 28").
I am going to my first ever shoot this Sun at the local gun club. Having never been to one  I was hoping some of you could tell me what to expect. I intend to have fun and send some arrows down range.I am not trying to win this thing but to use it as a learning aide. Any advice or wisdom yall wish to share would be more than welcome.
Thanks
Jim

I am no expert like some of the fella's here. But, You can expect to be entertained. Having a great time. Who cares if you miss any. Its your own personal time. Just pick your spot... concentrate.... and just shoot the bow. Everything else will follow, if you are enjoying the time on the course. I envision a great hunt on each target, and just shoot my bow.  Have fun!!!

Don't keep score.  Just go out, shoot, have fun, and maybe start trying to keep score after you've got a couple under your belt.  I stopped keeping score and have just been trying to make good kill shots on all the targets. Good luck!

I agree with Hawk go have fun if you can latch on to the group thats laughing the loudest more often than not they are stick shooters but it doesn't matter just go have some fun and enjoy yourself good luck
Walk tall as the trees, live strong as the mountains,be gentle as the spring winds, keep the warmth of the summer sun in your heart and the Great Spirit will always be with you.
