Variations of Stance

I have been practicing....pretty much the same open stance, but focusing on back tension and bringing my elbow back into line.  Shooting is better and smoother.  Just focusing on the "above waist" alignment.

Yeah, I still use my "open" stance with my feet, as I feel it helps me really stretch it out on the follow through, but now I resemble more of a target archer in my upper body.  That's actually how I started out shooting, but somewhere I morphed into a more squared off alignment.  I could be accurate with that alignment, but it took a lot more focus on my back tension and follow through, where as if you are aligned as Terry suggests, the follow through is more natural and you are a LOT less likely to pluck.  That in itself has been my nemesis.  Luckily, I was able to pinpoint the problem and recognize it when it pops up.
