Just received my new bear montana. Shoots good. Shot today at the club's winter league. Problem this week it was rabbits, those rabbits are pretty quick.
The question is and I know it is difficult to answer, just looking for general information,
the arrows tended to hit high, this is a possible indication of what?

Thanks,
mike

Could be your nock point is to low or problems with the spine of your arrow. To find out if it is a spine problem check O L Adcocks website.  Also you could check some  other websites to make sure you have the correct spined arrows; Three Rivers Archery, Carbon Express, Easton also have charts on their websites....Charlie

Could also be failing to pick a spot. I often shoot high if I'm looking at the whole target rather than picking a small spot. Frank

I hafta agree with Frank. Shooting a moving target with a bow is much the same as wingshooting with a shotgun. You need to practice your swing, learn your lead, and practicepracticpractice.
Just my humble opinion.

I raised the nocking point, that helped tremendously. The second thing that I did which is not difficult, was to shoot everyday like said from jbiorn practice practic practice.
I shot today for the league shot my best round ever. Finally getting it. Really beginning to enjoy the fine qualities of my bear montana.
Great bow.

Thanks for the input
