Cheap and Easy Arrow Spinner!

Materials and Tools:
Drill (1/8" bit) / Screw driver
4 bearings (I found these at my local hardware store)
4 washers (Same size or slightly larger than the center of the bearing)
4 screws
2X4 piece approximately 1' long



Step 1: Spacing the Bearings
If your like me and mainly shoot woodies then your bearings need not ride very high on the wood. Notice the smaller the shaft the closer together and higher up on the wood your bearing will need to be. In the picture below I found that a plastic container and a Home Depot Pencil spaced thing out just right for this 2X4. Make sure you can replicate the spacing on the other side. Once situated where you want mark the center of bearing.


 
Step 2: Predrill Holes
Do this on both sides, and then predrill the holes taking care to get them as straight as possible without running it through the top of the 2X4 and your hand.



Step 3: Screwing Down the Bearings
Once you have the holes drilled and have selected the appropriate size of washers you can go ahead and screw down your bearings. Notice you only need to go snug, not so tight you will jam up the bearing from turning smoothly.



Continue this on both sides and you will have an arrow spinner.
