Got the  pleasure of meeting Tom Jenkins of Zipper bows this week. First class guy and has a great shop. I got    :archer2:   to shoot some of his fine bows . The C2 Limbs where just killer for me! Those of you that are looking for new set of Limbs for your Zipper or ready for a new bow Check the C2 Limbs out.

Looking forward to shooting the new C2 limbs myself.

Biathlonman

I've shot them too.  Very good limbs.  Exceptionally quiet and fast.  Everything you'd expect from a Zipper.

Buckeye1977

How do they compare to the evolution and z4 limbs?

All of the Zipper Limbs I shot that day where great but there was something about the C2 Limbs .... Tom told me they where 50 at 28".... they felt like less than 40 and shot like 55 plus! Where deadly quiet! It was a 58" setup and drew like glass at 27" draw"..and a plus for these limb too is the beautiful Wood veneers that can be used. The whitetails are not going to like them at all... lol

Biathlonman

Nick, I thought they were very close to my Evo excels performance and sound wise.  The Z4 is in a whole different world, but justifiably cost accordingly.

I had an sxt a couple years ago but not sure what limbs it had on it. They were very smooth but a little too light in poundage so like an idiot I sold it and now I'm trying to get one back in the stable! Biathlonman, how are the z4's different from the others? I've heard a real smooth draw but a little different sound on release. Not that the noise makes a difference with them all being very quiet. They are pretty cool looking with the carbon and bigger hooks!

The Z4 feel like they quit adding weight about half way through the draw, it's odd and magical at the same time!  And they are faster then any other limb I've ever shot, you must try them to believe it.

Ronald Roberts

Biathlonman do you think the z4 is that much faster than c2? I know the z4 limbs cost is up there. This is my first Zipper and it sounds like you have got to spend some time with a few of them!..., thanks Jeff

Biathlonman is right.  The Z4s are special.  Right up there with the Morrison Max5s and latest Borders in draw feel and performance.  I have personally tested the Z4s and Max5s and I loved both for different reasons.  Either would be a smashing good choice for someone wanting a radical super recurve.  I have a Zipper standard riser with Z4 limbs in the works right now.

Ronald, the Z4 are faster, but how much I don't know.  The draw feel alone is worth the cost of admission, they feel at least 5 lbs. lighter then normal limbs.

KentuckyTJ

Hey guys, the Z4 limbs are 7 feet per second faster than the wood limbs at 50lbs @ 28". That is with 10 gpp arrow and a string with two rubber sets of whiskers and regular length serving and nocks.

Thanks TJ.... when I shot your bows last week it was just unreal the speed out of the all the limbs 48-50 pound with 500 plus gr arrows.... and deadly Quiet.... lol makes it hard to pick a model!... I see why guys on here have more than one Zipper!

KentuckyTJ

It was my pleasure. Zipper Bows began in 1982 they have been figured out! Its a trick to make a smooth drawing fast limb that produces no hand shock and is as quiet as it can be. The C2 limbs are very nice, you have made a great decision.

C2 is a wonderful choice, very similar to my favorite limbs.
