No. Not in sequential order. I believe the lower poundage limbs are being made and shipped first. [/b]

I'm hearing about bad glass issues on the limbs. Check out the unwrapping video that 3Rivers posted. I'm becoming a little scared.    :scared:  Thinking I will be reconsidering continuation in the series.

Chad Orde

Streaky glass is common now which SUCKS. Maybe some bowers can chime in but I dont think it affects the integrity of the glue joints at all.
Its just a case of "less" clear glass these days not sure why that can't be fixed but I dont make the stuff..

I know bear would back it with the customer service if there ever was an issue. I can't wait to see one next to a animal!!

I noticed he didn't ooooh and aaaaah over the limb glass. The streaks are quite noticeable.

Very discouraging.

He does say "glass looks good"

It is a good looking bow but dont think I could handle the streaking for that money

Orion

Agreed rr. That glass has a lot of streaking. Some builders are managing to pick out good/unstreaked glass for their bows.  One would think Bear could do the same.

I was planning to reserve one, but think I'll wait awhile now.  I may lose out, but I don't think I want to buy one sight unseen.

mooshkat

I got mine, full of streaks in glass, plus limbs didnt line up, and the string was for a longbow, its back at Bear, for the price, it better be flawless.  Thinking seriously of selling it when i get it back, this bow shouldnt have never left the factory! Lacking in the quality control dept!

This is a bad news, I really hate to hear that a so well know company can make such a huge mistakes on a bow that has to be the flagship of the high quality traditional line.

I really hated to see that in the video.  I already have a Bear TD but could always use a limited TD.  After some of the comments and that vid, I'm a little put off.  I own and have owned Blacktail, Silvertips Big Jim etc... The quality, fit and finish of those bows are perfect.  I would settle for nothing less from Bear.  I do hope it's a few isolated incidents.

Also was going to order one. After reading what Mooshkat had to say I think I'll hold off. Boy you think for that kind of money you would have no problems.

David Mitchell

That bow should never have left the factory like that.  I'm surprised 3Rivers showed that.

I wanted a limited edition in the worst way.  Only reason I didn't was an estate auction steal 53#@28 stalker recurve by South Cox and Steve sent me a 49#@28 Northern mist classic longbow. I'll still get a bear takedown in the future.  But I think I heard enough to stear me clear of the limited edition.
