What a awesome buck and I can't wait to see what the mount comes out like, Curt's Taxidermy work is the best      :bigsmyl:

You know your son is grown up when he guts then drags his own deer out of the woods. Such good memories, and as always buddy you have done a awesome job of sharing it with us through great words and picks. Congratulations to both of you and I know there will be many, many more to come.

Great job, well done!!!      :clapper:        :clapper:        :clapper:

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

Congratulations!!!

I know others over the years have said this, myself included, but thanks for taking your young MAN out in the woods and thanks for sharing your experiences with him. It's been awesome watching this man grow into his own man.

Congrats, Cade on a fine buck!

Thanks to Curt for posting some photos of the blood trail and the beginnings of Cade field dressing his buck.

I have always felt that the biggest hole in the content of online forums, to say nothing of TV hunting shows, is practical information, with photos, about what to do after you shoot, as there's so much more than a photograph. I think seeing a young hunter who's been well-mentored going through those steps would be good to see. Maybe that's just my thinking..I've never hauled a deer out on the back of an ATV or taken a deer to a "processor"  and I get a great sense of satisfaction from every part of the process of being a bowhunter, from practicing my shooting all the way to wrapping and labeling the last package of venison.

Sorry for going off track. Great hunting, Curt and Cade.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
