It's been awhile... "Memorable Hunt of 2017"

It's been awhile since I've posted on TG, so I decided to share our most memorable hunt from this season.

Our season had started off relatively slow this year. The numbers were low and the animals seemed to be very skittish.
Much of our time was spent glassing and walking.

When we hunt in this specific area, I'm usually the one blazing the trails. But on this specific day, I was doing a horrible job in the lead.

Not once, but twice the goats saw me before I spotted them.  We were halfway through the day and I already ruined two potential stalks. Up to that point in time, all we saw was goat tails...

After I got busted twice, we decided to take a break and have a snack. I told Staci, if we find another herd, you're going to take the lead.
