Randy,

Glad you finally bit the bullet!  I'll try to post some pictures of mine a little later today if time allows!

I love my primal tech!

I have shot a lot of bow's, like most everyone on here.  I had him make me one and I can tell you three things about it.

1) Super smooth draw
2) Forgiving design
3) Beautiful workmanship and grip fits like a glove.
4) Very nice and caring bowyer.

Okay, that was 4, but he is a great guy, call him and talk with him.  You will not be disappointed.

Awesome!! Randy is a great guy and builds a heck of a bow. He will go above and beyond to make you happy. I can't say enough good things about mine!! Great shooter, super smooth and absolutely gorgeous. I'd recommend him to anybody.

Official and public congratulations Randy! I've been not-so-patiently waiting for this day. I've recently been good-naturedly accused of being a cheerleader for Randy. And I definitely am. He was a good friend long before I knew he was interested in building bows for anyone besides himself. When I first moved to Texas he graciously offered to take me hunting after "meeting" one another right here on Trad Gang.

I thought I was happy with my recurve until I shot one of his longbows. He and I talked about how I shot, how I hunted, my preferences in grip, etc. Ultimately, we decided on his 2pc model and I couldn't be more pleased. Todd and Ryan said it all above, but feel free to shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to discuss my thoughts and experience in detail.

I'll post some profile pictures in a little bit when my wife can help with the full draw pic.

Sorry the lighting is so bad on the profile pics, but you can at least see the lines of the 2pc.

Im glad you are doing this Randy!
It has really been a pleasure working with you on the wood combinations and the fine details for the bow you are building for me.
Now that everything is picked out, I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Looking forward to getting mine.  Have heard nothing but great things, and Randy is a great guy.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

There are several of my bows floating around here on TG and I've been  contacted by a lot of members, so  I figured it was time to give back to the place where I got my start .

I dabbled in self bows for several years before I found TG. Then I tried my hand at building one of Kenny's bows and was hooked immediately. Kenny was a huge help, inspiration and very instrumental in My start to bow building. And he still is!  I even still build his design with a few minor tweaks to fit my personal liking. (Not improvements, but some personal preferences).

Then Big Jim came along and took me under his wing (big hairy arm), so to speak, and became like a mentor to me. I cannot put down in words what all that man has done for me. He has selflessly (but sternly at times) given me advice in every single aspect of bow building.  Why he has been so generous I will never know .

Another person that has been a major influence /mentor  to me is Mike Rash of Legends Bows. Mike was an integral part in the building of my 3 piece design.  He single-handedly saved me years and thousands of dollars in R&D by steering me in the right direction.  He selflessly offered advice when he didn't have to. It is very intimidating to put one of your bows in the hands of a master bowyer and have him critique it! LoL

I consider each of these guys a personal friend  and I am here today because of their willingness to help a complete stranger!

I am eternally grateful  to all three of these men !

if anyone would like to contact me they can message me here on TG or email me at PrimalTechBows@gmail.com. I hardly ever look at my website because I am not happy with it .  I will be having professional help with re-doing the website in the near future .

What's new for 2018???

First,  I will be introducing a recurve to the lineup . Then toward the end of the year I will be working up an all new hybrid design!  I am looking forward to what the future holds !

Thanks again, and God Bless!!!
