2017 BEST HUNT VIDEO CONTEST

I have been chatting with a friend of mine, who is also involved with another organization, and we were thinking a team effort for this idea.

Now, hurricane Irma got caught up in the mix and we haven't been able to finalize....but we will one way or another.

Here's the deal......

Very simple...you film your TRAD Bowhunting adventure and present it to TradGang via Youtube or some other type of online hosting on your own personal thread so everyone can view.

Next...we will COPY the thread and move it to another forum for archive.

February we will then 'Have A Vote'...to determine the winner.

ALL VIDEOS POSTED MUST BE POSTED ON TRADGANG, AND THE FINAL DEADLINE FOR POSTING YOUR VIDEO WILL BE FEBRUARY 15TH.  HUNT MUST BE FILMED THIS FALL/WINTER SEASON to be eligible.

The voting will be by YOU the members...NOT TG, NOT the other org, NOT a panel, NOT a bureaucracy, ......BUT YOU the members of this forum and members of the other organizations membership and they will also be posted on their site as well.....

Best video by the people, voted on by the people.

So sorry we are a little late getting this out....but better now than waiting another year.

I look forward to seeing each video submitted for this season, and I'm sure it will be a great set up for some awesome 'sequels' next year.

It's YOUR CHOICE and the MEMBERS will decide.  Short long...quantity/quality...your choice...we are just going to host and facilitate the effort.

this is cool!  I know there are some people here who make some phenominal videos.  Even if I could manage to kill a world class buck, my editing skills are WAY behind a lot of peoples here.  I have a hunch that Guru will be in the talk for winning.. that is, if he can get his footage edited in time! haha.

Every video deserves its own thread... therefore it deserves its own comments and we will then post all the video links on one thread for voting.

Again at this point we're still winging it. I don't see a need for a limit as each video should stand on its own
 Just make sure it's up to tradgang standards or it will be removed of course.

Presentation of the animal and the kill should be have high standards and I think that if most of you think about that you'll understand what I mean

Yes on extending the date a little longer if possible. The Mississippi deer season runs through the middle of February and the rut doesn't get going till around mid January here.

OK...I think is a fair request that should be granted....for the late season hunters to not be left out.

The new deadline is posted in my original thread of Feb 1th.

Once we vote...we will start it again for next year so we can get the whole season in.

What about the early season hunters, 2017 but pre-fall?  Almost everything is shuts down up North by late September with few exceptions.

Steve the contest started the day I posted.  We can't go back all the way to 2003 with people keep requesting further and further back.
