Heated ground blind

We use the small cans like are used under trays of food at restaurants. Pry the cap off and refil with dry gas. Set between ur feet and cover up with an old, genuine, wool army blanket. Noiseless, relatively safe and pretty comfy. If it's extremely cold we wrap up in the blanket then put the can down between our feet. U must b more careful this way though as moving your feet can move the blanket and may move/tip the can.

By the way, charcoal gives off CO, not good.

I use a nice wool blanky and wrap it around my legs and lower toso. A couple hand or body warmers  in there if you really need it. I bet that will do the trick.

I have been using moving blankets from harbor freight. At $6 they are cheap but effective when wrapped around your waist to under your feet.  They drop silently off when you stand. My other trick is a baked potato in foil. One in each pocket to warm the hands.  When cold-I eat them  to replenish body fuel—\0-do not eschew chocolate- when cold or shivering, I start on tootsie rolls.  Too often folks forget to add fuel to the body to stave off cold.  Also get your feet off the earth on to a log or piece of wood.

I have a big buddy heater in one blind and a regular one in the other . One blind is insulated and even when it gets really cold I can get to warm and have to turn down the heat . Both have a 20# propane bottle with hose attached so they last about a week . I can also fill the small bottles off the big one . No fumes no noise that will spook a deer .

I don't know what they're called but Coleman made a heater that was silent(3500btu catalytic?). It runs off of their liquid fuel. You fill the tank then invert until you see a wet spot, set it down then light. It has a grate over the element that keeps you from touching it. No light other than a faint red glow. It gets extremely warm. I've used one several times while hunting in stands. I've had deer walk by close enough for me to reach out and touch them and they didn't seem to care. I would advise to having some sort of ventilation as it could get dangerous.
Nice thing about them is that you can keep a cup of coffee hot as well as set your lunch on it to have a hot lunch.

I have one of those white gas Colemans.  They called it a tent heater.  I will heat your tent, it will keep your body warm until the paramedics come to haul you off to the morgue.  I used it once for deer hunting.  It was well below zero, I dug a hole into the side a deep snow drift on a warmer day to get out of the wind.  On the cold day I lugged the heater and an ice fishing wind break umbrella along.  The umbrella went above and the heater did a good job keeping me warm enough.  An extra large mummy sleeping bag works for zero temps.
