Had a great week. Shot this cow on Monday night using my birth year bow, 1963 Kodiak. And just got my scan results back, 15 years cancer free. Big thanks to Colotrad for helping me get the elk out and butchered.

You can't get off with that little of a story!  We need to know shot distance, bow weight, arrow weight, broadhead, how it performed....all the finite details!

The bow is about 52# at my draw length, GT total arrow weight of 545 gr, including the 175 gr 3 blade vpa.  Shot was about 20 yds through a vital size window of brush. Had an oh no moment when my lower limb tip hit the log I was sitting on upon release. Arrow really fishtailed and I didn't get pass through. Placement was still good and I had a good blood trail. She went about 120 yds.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
