Joe , I used one of my 3 piece bows. 60" bow, 54#@28".  GT Blem with 150 grain German Kenetic  bh.  40-50 yrd recovery.

Darren, I hiked a total of about 6-7 miles between Sunday and Monday and only saw 1 grouse. 20 yard shot. Here's the result!

I hit it low and it flew off. Tried to locate it again but never did. We think all the grouse were at lower elevations because there wasn't a lot of berries where we was hunting.
