We had to stop to pick raspberries on the steep hike in.

Great little brookies in a lake 1 mile from camp, caught on a dry fly.

...and very pretty country to hunt.

We saw 0 grouse.  They just disappeared from 2 weeks ago.  There was a fire burning a ridge over from our camp and smoke jumpers jumped into our valley to monitor it.  It's kinda strange being in the middle of the backcountry, trying to call in a bear and you look up and see someone parachuting into your drainage.

You are making memories.  My son and did that above Sonora Pas a few years back
