A shout out to Ky.Rob here on the site     ......We had talked about a ILF riser and working a trade, then I sold it. Still looking for a riser he said hey, why don't you just try this one to see if it would work for you. So he sends me the riser to try for as long I need to. I wind up buying it from him at a great price. This is the kind of people you have to put up with on this site.     This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened to me.....thanks to all........   :notworthy:    :notworthy:

There are certainly great people on here!

Always a plus to hear pleasant experiences!

I once posted a question about weight tubes... and a dozen shows up a couple days later. Recently commented about a nice looking homemade wingbone turkey call and Paul Askew (blacktailbowhunter) lets me pick out the one I liked best!

Got invited on a wilderness elk hunt by Doug Treat and killed my first bull, and made some great friends including Barry Buckley (buckster), Tim Antoine (nightstalker), Darren Shue (hackbow), Darren Bowers (widowsax) and several others.

Great site, great people... got to love tradgang!!

I enjoy hearing about that!  Not surprising in the least.  The TG family goes way back and continues  into the future by generous and sincere acts of kindness that the world does not fully understand.  That is our hallmark.  Its what we do!

There are some good folks around here, for sure!

I can echo this fact as well!

Jim from "Red River Broadheads" sent me a 3-pack of their excellent "R1" broadheads to try out.

Price? Free. Gratis. No charge. Bez platna (Bosnian for 'without paying').

He just sent me an e-mail asked for my address and that he would send a free pack.

Anyone/any company that has a 100% warranty and includes 7 extra blades in the package with the MSRP of these heads has to have confidence in their product.

Having handled them personally, i believe they have good reason for such confidence!

Thanks again Jim!

ETA: I don't know the folks from Red River Broadheads at all. Never met them, contacted them, anything. Ever.

Goof folks here. You will find many well informed, (if stubbornly opinionated)people here who are very willing to assist with any aspect of traditional archery. This is a good source of information.
