Voting begins today! Pick my moose bow and win it.

The Classic Year   at    Traditional Spirit Outdoors  and    RMS Gear   have teamed up to bring you something really cool and the chance to win a bow!

I'll be travelling to Newfoundland in September to hunt moose with vintage archery gear and I'm asking you (all TradGang members) to vote on the bow I will use on my hunt.

Simply go to the    RMS Gear BowVote   page and vote on one of the eight bows. The bow with the most votes by June 30th will accompany me to Newfoundland in pursuit of moose. Voting will automatically register you to win the bow (after my hunt) and other prizes from The Classic Year sponsors, including    RMS Gear ,    3Rivers Archery , and    Sporting Classics Magazine   .

You can    BowVote   directly by clicking on the links or check out more details at    The Classic Year   blog page.

I want to thank the folks at RMS Gear for making this possible by giving me access to their huge inventory of bows and by donating a bow for the moose hunt and drawing.

Looking forward to it, Matt.

I'm getting my thoughts in order, but that's a little like herding cats!

I should mention...I'm getting slammed with votes and interestingly, no one bow is out ahead.

Check it out and vote for your favorite.

Thanks to all who have already voted.

I voted! It was tough and it will be interesting to see what bow goes to Newfoundland with you. None of them are bad choices! Good luck!

Very cool thing you're doing here.
Talk about some super classics!

wish would have had a Browning Safari II or an Explorer II on that list....hahaha instead of a Nomad...hell even a Wasp.  :)   The Nomad was what I considered the best compromise in draw weight and length for the hunt.  Just dont like Nomads...haha

That being said....the Pearson Mach I got my interest but not familiar with how they shoot....as did the factory camo Super Kodiak.  Chose the Damon Howatt but I think one of the two Super Kodiaks is going to win.  :)

I voted. My favorite on the list was a bit high in the draw weight so i picked my second favorite.

Archery is in the eye of the bowholder...

Didn't vote, but hope you have a great moose hunt.

Had to go with the Bear takedown myself. Good luck in your hunt.

Wow! What an amazing response! After just one day you folks have tallied more than 200 votes!

As of now, 4 of the 8 bows are close in votes and it could go any direction.

This is really fun!

Please check it out and take a minute to    BowVote .

Thanks to everyone who voted and to our sponsors:  RMS Gear, 3Rivers Archery, and Sporting Classics magazine.

Whack bows are leading the pack?

Tim in Wa.

Have you thought about the possibility of a tie vote on two different bows?
I'm volunteering right now to go along and carry the second bow:)
