Congrats to Doug S. Field Archery "Trad" division Champion

Trad Gang member Doug S. took the 1st place trophy in the Trad division of the National Field Archery competition. He won it by 60 points using a Hill Country Bow. It was a Camo "Wildcat" reverse handle T/D longbow.

Doug also writes for TBJ. Folks should check out his article in the most recent issue entitled "Satisfaction". Doug, I would imagine you feel a little satisfaction with winning that competition!! Congratulations!!

Doug is still on the road- atleast as of last night. He called and we talked a bit. He is a very gifted and humble man. Probably the best bowhunter I have ever been around. He would deny that, but the people who know him personally would argue otherwise.

Congrats Buddy! I know you dont always like the attention, but it is well deserved!!

BUT this was not like winning the IBO. Where the competition is much greater. Well see how that goes. It's kind of fun to compete again.
I will say the bow is a very, very fine shooting bow.
