I was a recurve user for a while....A friend let me try some once and I figured one time wouldn't hurt.  Before long I was looking for my own and used regularly.  I thought switching over to longbow would be better for me and wean me slowly.  I now am a full blown addict.  My "fix" of choice is longbow, but I still use recurve regularly.  I got my wife hooked on longbow as well, but she is 8 months pregnant and has stopped for the baby....She is so responsible.....gotta sneak outside and shoot up....or straight...or whatever....
