Fletching

Hey folks,

Recently I purchased my first recurve and pretty happy with it, but the lower fletching that runs across the arrow rest keeps getting damaged and some have been torn off, is it the arrow rest or Easton arrows I'm using? [2219's]  The last few years I've been shooting English Longbows, I've been shooting off my knuckle and haven't come across this problem before.

Any hints or tips?  What type of glue will work with the Easton shafts?

I use fletching tape and I love it.  After fletchin using glue or tape I put a spot of glue on the front and back of the fletch.  This keeps the feather from catching on anything and really helps it stay put.  I hope this helps and keep 'em in the middle, TMG.
