I have two bruin recurves (Non Fast Flight) 48lbs and 49lbs @ 28"  respectively. I am looking for the best carbon arrow/setup for these bows for hunting deer, bear etc. My draw is 28 1/2". I would like to purchase the arrows already pre-weighted and use  2-4 blade 100-125 grn broadheads. The easier the setup the better. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I usually use aluminum arrows so I am new to the carbon arrow revolution.
Thanks Brad W.

I use Goldtip 35-55 traditionals.  They fly very well from my 50 and 52 pound bows.  Carbon express also has some excellent shafts that will be in the right range for you.

I just switched to CX Heritage 150's and love them. They are very durable and look like wood arrows. I shoot a 45#@28" longbow and cut mine to 30 inches with 125gr tips. They should be stiff enough for the bows you are using as well. They are 10gpi so a finished arrow without extra weighting is around 475gr.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

+1 on the Gold Tip 33/55's, though you might need to use some type of insert to get them heavy enough (I use the regular "Hunters" and they're very light so I add steel inserts with my broadheads.)

When I had my Bruin Bows I was shooting 35/55's with 70 garins of weight behind the insert and 145 grain points. My bows were 50 and 52 pounds.

Anybody else with a specific setup or suggestions that should be used.

Brad,
I'm shooting CX Heritage 150 in my 50# recurve & 51# r/d longbow.  If you go with those I'd suggest leaving them a little too long, then ease back down in length carefully. They are borderline stiff for your setup.  I've avoided the Gold Tips due to several reports from others with problems which, I think, were spine inconsistencies among them.
