I have been giving recurves a little try lately. They are louder than my Hills  but i like them. How do you go about quieting them down some i played with the brace height on a wing and that is better but still loud. Do they ever get quiet will the noise spook game to the point of string jumping?

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

String silencers, felt rest pads, etc...really do help. String jumping isn't one of those things you can really garuantee won't ever happen, but I feel pretty confident saying that it won't prove to be a game spooker...
