I've got an old Bear Kodiak Hunter thats in real good shape, except that I noticed horizontal lines across both limbs from the fade-outs to about 8in out the limbs.Would these be normal stress lines or something to worry about?I didn't notice them when I bouhgt the bow, only after I shot it for a couple weeks.I can feel them when I run my fingernail over them and it looks like they're in the clear finish.

Had that happen to the finish on a couple of bows.  As long as the glass is not lifting it should be ok.

I figured it was ok,but I wanted a second opinion.Thanx.

I notice the same thing on my older Kodiak Hunter's. Hasn't caused any problems yet. I am told it is pretty common and is just the finish cracking. Jim
