What can you guys tell me about this bow? I'm seriously considering taking the plunge. I'm used to short bows and hunt with two different Supermag 48" bows..never had a longbow.. Not even considering anything longer than 52" I like em short and nimble!
Just can't get this bow outa my head..Pics and opinions from those who own shoot one would be great!!! Im currently  hunting with about 53-55# at the finger on a 48# that I draw to 29-30. I'd probably be looking at getting the Shrew in 50# and hoping all my tail tapered cedar will work..

I have a 52" Classic Hunter II and draw 29" comfortably.  I've shot Henry Bodnik's personal 52" Classic Hunter II takedown in camp and it's a great takedown. Henry draws 30". For me, the 52" is nimble and shoots fantastic

I had a Classic Hunter, but it was 56". BTW, I had a 48" Super Mag, also. I just like a little longer bow. But the Classic Hunter is a very, very nice, handy bow.

My CH was 51# and I shot 62-64# spine with 160 grain STOS two blade broadheads. I bought the bow directly from Ron LaClair and he suggested his "Sitka Supreme" arrows. I should mention that at the time my draw length 27.75".

I loved that combination, it shot great and were beautifully matched.
