I'm in a similar position. I sold my hunting land that I've had since 1995 or so. I didn't want to leave it for my wife to have to handle.

Fortunately, I have relatives, and friends in ND and MN with lots of land, but it does require more travel. And some days I just run out of steam. I've only been out three days this year but will be out again tomorrow. Your post was encouraging.
