I am thinking that IF I had a bow that I would not sell, then it would be my ONLY bow and there would be no thoughts of even owning another. That is a journey we must all navigate on our own. Seems that the "special" bow will change as time does and even sometimes they come in and out of the favorites category leaving you to just keep them all!

I have a couple.  Jim Reynolds MOAB, John McDonald D/R longbow, loosely patterned after a 21st Century.  I've shot 21st Century and John's bow is better.  Almost all my bows are no longer being made, so they'll all special.  Even have a prototype Damon Howatt TD recurve.

I wouldn't have sold the little red longbow I got for christmas when I was about 11 .   Woke up Christmas morning pretty excited.   I think it was lil bear, lil Indian or titan? Don't recall.   Mom sold it in a garage sale 15 years ago. I wish I had of known I would have taken it.   25 lbs I thought. Maybe 20.
