Hello, I'm just curious if anyone here has hunted with a Toelke with their 10x grip. I absolutely love their classic grip and like their standard. I think the 10x is more of a target design. Would that "hurt you" in hunting positions/scenarios?

Thanks!

I've never heard of such.... but I have demonstrated on multiple occasions of shooting accurately by gripping the bow by the lower fade out, excluding the grip all together.  I am a firm believer that you can shoot accurately with any grip if you 'yield to it' and have proper form and alignment.  You may not like how it feels, but you can shoot it accurately.  I need to do a video on that.

Can you tell me exactly what a 'target grip" is.  I've shot a lot of targets with a lot of grips and they all bled.  :campfire:

Terry Green- Haha I admittedly don't know much about it. I've just been told and seen discussion of "target" bows grip-more of a loose grip with fingers rotated out to the side. It could be harder to maintain in a tense hunting situation, or with weird angles, canting, twisting, etc. Again not a lot of first hand experience, just potential issues that have been brought up to me with that style grip.

I remember the olympic gold winner about 15 years ago was on TV on some hunting show and he missed a real nice 8 pointer at like 12 yards. I wouldn't worry about some 'hokey grip fabrication'.

Sam, I remember that! It has been a while.
