What can we tell from tab wear? Obviously im putting too much pressure on my top finger or torquing the string somehow.  Any ideas?

Orion

Or you have a short bow.  Difficult to say. All tabs wear over time.  Doesn't look out of the ordinary to me.

Thanks orion saw the wear on the upper finger and thought it could be a sign of an issue since there wasnt even wear on the bottom.  I've been doing a lot of reading and listening lately.  I think it may be leading to overthinking and over analyzing.

Sam McMichael

The wear on the top finger area of the tab could be caused by a metal string nock, especially if it is not clamped in evenly. I have had that happen.
