Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous- CANCELLED

After much consideration and discussion by our club officers, we have reluctantly decided to cancel our S.T.A.R. shoot that was scheduled for June 6 & 7.  With the restrictions to travel and gatherings in place, coupled with people's reluctance to engage in group activities we felt that it was the only responsible course of action at this time.  Additionally, with a lot of shooters just now returning to work its likely that they may not be willing to take the time or have the money to travel to a shoot.  There is the real risk of spending the time and money to set up a large shoot and then have a low attendance.

We are all very disappointed with this necessitated decision and hope that some of the shoots scheduled for later in the year are unaffected. Stay healthy, enjoy shooting your bows and we will see you at the 2021 Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous.

Very sad news.  I was hoping the June date would be late enough to allow you and your team to make the opposite decision, but I understand.  Being that I work in healthcare, there's been little downtime the last few months. I was looking forward to getting away from it all at STAR this year. I guess STAR 2021 will be that much sweeter!
