A most enjoyable afternoon

The grandchildren came by today.  I had bought my grandson, William who's eight, a new 17" ILF riser and he was eager to give it a go.  He's been shooting a while with an old fiberglass bow I've had since I was a kid. I did have to grind a shelf and sight window on the other side, as he's a lefty.  His sister, Sophia, who's seven decided she wanted to shoot too.  A few little tests and I found out she's left-eyed too.  So... we started her on William's old bow.

We had a blast.   They didn't want to quit and said they were coming back on Saturday to shoot some more.

That's terrific. So special to spend time with grandchildren. My daughter had our first grandchild 14 months ago. I love seeing pictures of the kids shooting. They have a great teacher as well.
