I am looking to see if anyone know of a place to get one or knows of a bowyer who can make a bendy handle glassed D/R bow?
I really enjoy my bendy handle selfbows, but I have always wanted a laminated one. So I am looking to see who will make one. I have seen some on here before, so I know it can be done.
Know of anyone?

Thanks,
Boswell

Here is one a guy on here did a few years ago. I'm looking to get back into trad, a shoulder injury pushed me out. So, I'm looking to get one made in the mid 40's

Those are simple to make, I've done a couple simple flatbows like that.

No fancy jigs or forms -- a simple straight piece of 2x2 or 2x4, and bicycle innertube rubber bands hold things together while the Smooth-On dries.  Simple tapers, no handle unless you want a leather wrap or something.

Here's a poor picture of one I did a few years back, in the style of a Warring States (Chinese) flatbow from about 2500 years ago:

The 2x2 next to it is the form I used, and I spiral wrapped the glue up with bicycle rubber bands rather than spending time drilling and tapping in wooden dowels for the bands to hook on.  It worked by not well -- I needed about 3 more hands!

This bow is 56" t-t-t with a 5" "handle" cut in to 1" wide; st the "fade" the limbs are 15" wide and taper to 1/2" wide at the nocks.  It weighs in at 58# with a .35 total stack (wood and glass).  To make an identical bow with 45# draw you would want to use a .32 total stack.
