Hey guys I'm building an ASL and just wondering if I put uni-weft in my tips for tip wedges will that be sufficient to be make my bow fast flight capable so the tips don't need overlays?
Primitive archery gives yourself the maximum challenge while giving the animal the maximum chance to escape- G. Fred Asbell

Greg, not familiar with that material, but wouldn't be concerned with or without it on a longbow. Glass or selfbow.

Nock transition, angle, more important. Narrow, thicker tips, along with less stress, preload, as with a recurve bow.

Also building string loops, pad, reinforce so load is even thru the nocks.

Shooting proper weight arrows, also!

High performance strings don't kill bows, people do!

I would work fine only concer would be is you can see the fiber glass lines on edges that could be less than pretty
