Riser Combo's with Red Cedar Veneers

Was curious what wood combo's you guys have used in the riser with Red Cedar Veneers?  Thanks, Danny Pics would be GREAT!

Here is a pic of a red cedar that I put together. The combo included  - southern red cedar on the back - black glass on the belly. Walnut riser with Padauk in the riser and as the riser overlay.
