Hi guys,
I have a shiny samick recurve that I use traditionally for hunting (no bells ande whistles, no sights etc) BUT it is a SHINY silver bow that I want to camouflage. Any advice on the best way to do it? Spray paint, tape, housepaint, sleeves (although my bright blue riser will still be visible) or any other technique I haven't thought of or know about?
whether you believe you can or believe you can't you are right.

I have some cloth camo sleeves that I put on the bow during hunting season.

Spray paint for riser, snake skins for limbs.  That's my advice.

This is the same process that is used on compounds and 4 wheelers   ect.

I don't have a photo but what I do is simply sponge the paint on 2-3 colors. I go to Walmart and use this art deco stuff its cheap. After its done to your liking just use clear spray over top.

In the hobby stores that deal with dried, flowers etc. You can buy spray cans of a fast drying "paint" it is non reflective and can be removed if wanted in the future.

You could glue Legos all over the bow to camoflage it. It's a well know fact that deer can't see Legos.
