I only mix a small amount because it only lasts a few weeks, even in a sealed jar. One half a baby food jar of the stuff will probably be enough for 6 coats on a dozen arrow shafts with some left over. I cut a piece of old tee shirt about 2" square, fold it over a couple of times, dip it in the epoxy acetone mix and wipe it on the shaft. The stuff gets tacky in just about 30 seconds so you only get one or two swipes per shaft. Depending on the temperature it takes several hours for each coat to cure, four hours on a hot day and about eight or more on damp, cold days. The whole process takes a while but you end up with very stable arrows.
