Has anyone used redwood lams in a glass bow? I have build glass bows with dozens of different woods with good results. Some of the wood I didn't even know what it was and still don't. Just found some nice straight grain redwood and thought I would give it a try.

I think I remember Big Jim having built a bow with redwood veneers.

I've seen plenty of red cedar...but not sure I've seen redwood....

Anyone got any pics?

I've not used redwood as a lam but I have been looking at redwood burl veneers...very nice stuff.

BigJim

Yes, I have used it as veneers but never core. A real pain to use as veneer due to how fragile it is, but it is worth it as the Burl is outstanding!
good luck, bigjim
