For those of you who use gorilla glut for your tip overlays on glass bows, do you just put the glue on one surface or both like smooth-on.
I like smooth-on for my overlay to glass bond then the gorilla glue for the next layers.
Just not sure if I should hit both surfaces or not.

If you mean the Gorilla Super Glue (impact tough formula), I only put the glue on one surface and then clamp.

I don't think the regular Gorilla (the expanding stuff) glue will work at all.

glue both surfaces--then wipe the squeeze out with a quick swipe of my finger--don't clamp it too hard-i like spring clamps

I use multiple thin pieces of material and I also spring clamps.. with saran wrap to keep glue off of clamps

for those of you that wipe super glue with your fingers...to remove it try rubbing the dry glue with a pumice stick under running water. In case you don't know, you get a pumice stick in the toilet cleaning dept at walmart.

Also be sure to ruff up your glue surfaces with at least 60 grit. I wet both surfaces. I clamp pretty tight and have had no problems. GG gives you a bit more time to get things lined up. Wipe the excess and shoot both edges with accelorator.

This is exactly what I do. No problems yet
