Red fiber glass, I think Kenny has the stuff you need.

if i included one strip on either edge of my wedge would this effect my performance?

i would have to decrees the thickness of my taper and parallel?

is it sanded on both sides?

Bloodwood will work for a racing stripe also. You will need to take into account the thickness of your additional core by decreasing one or both of your tapersor parallels- it won't matter which side of the wedge you put it on. The red fiberglass does come sanded on both sides.

It is sanded both side.  I think the thickness is .020.

What your looking for is "core tuff" it's .030 thick. I have used it and "uni weft" in tips and in risers. I have bought it in thicker pieces for use in risers...
