That's a nice unit but the link lists it as a 3 phase unit. Won't be able to use it unless you have a commercial 3 phase service or a phase converter. Is this correct. Don

Yes, you correct. Most old shop equipment and commercial machinery operate on 3 phase. I believe you can convert/ change the motor also.

I was going to say I've never seen a three phase motor that can be changed to single phase but we have a welder at work that will run on three phase or single phase. It was very expensive. I would think the motor in your saw could not be changed. I have been a electrical tech for 35 years and learn something new every day, but I could be wrong. Don

Don, I think your right on the money. I forget not everyone has a phase converter. If you do though, its an awesome deal!

my brother converted all the machines( about 12 motors) in my factory- that were 3 phase motors- by putting a capacitor on them and doing something with the wiring- they ran for ever on a commercial scale- he is a master electricion though- i need to get the details from him again
