Got to work today and found a book laying on my desk.  Legend of the Longbow by Glenn St. Charles.  What a surprise.  The book looks brand new.  Turns out a buddy came across it somehow and doesn't have a need for it so now I have it.

Skimming thru it, it looks like the book goes into very technical detail on everything.  Going to have to read it a few time to understand it all.

Very cool.  A buddy of mine was at an auction of a local bowhunter and I asked him to pick up any books if they went reasonable. I ended up with 22 titles of the "Legends of the Longbow" series signed by Glenn.  I have alot of reading to do.

Wish I had friends that thought like yours.

Didn't realize this is part of a series.  Looked it up on Amazon and I think this one is volume 5 but it doesn't say anything about volumes in the book.

Nice!  My friends at work never leave me books.  I do find an occasional bag of animal parts though, which is still nice.

Legends of the Longbow is the name of the series, Glen St. Charles is the person who commissioned it.  The book you have wasn't written by Glen, it looks like "Archery the Technical side", which is a reprint of a book from the 1930's.

There are some great books in that series.

matts2

yes it is "Archery the Technical side" and was reprinted in '92.
