I'm spraying 5 bows today with T-bird satin. Just came in from the 2nd round of spraying. Ain't no shine to THESE things.

Are you using the satin finish?

How do you guys control dust while spraying bows?

Don't spray into the dust pile.

If I'm on top of things, I get the shop cleaned up, vacuum around where I'll be spraying, and run the air filter for awhile.  Then I let things settle a bit, and spray.

Most of the time, I'm in a hurry and for small projects I often just hang it from the ceiling.  I'll use the air hose to approximate the spraying, and see if I stir up any dust.  Again leave the filter running.  Then let it settle and spray.

If something goes wrong and I get some dust, you can't see it, just feel it.  If you're rubbing down to dull the finish, it'll come right off anyhow.  Otherwise a little waxing also takes care of it.
