another red oak board bow

I hope no one ever gets sick of seeing red oak board bows on her but here is another one I made. it is 66 inch tip to tip it pulls 32# at 28" it is 1 1/2" in the middle then tapers to 1/2" nocks it has a leather handle stiched with deer skin and a leather shelf and felt strike plate. man I love making these bows and i was doing some family history and come to find out I have some scothish blood in me and the scotts that I am related to were bow makers. I thought that was cool. so I think I was guided to making bows by past ancestors maybe you never know anyway here are the pics.

That is a blue ribbon tiller job. I like seeing all the board bows folks make good way to learn tillering and a good prerequisite to stave self bows. Again nice bow,Crg
