Hairline crack in shelf

I have a 55# Red Wing Pro that has a hairling crack in the shelf.  It's small and runs through the shelf to just above the handle.  Do you think this will affect the integrity of the bow?  It's kind of hard to see but it starts from just to the right of the accent stripe and goes down and to the right.  Can this be fixed with locktite or epoxy over it?  Thanks in advance for the input.

I think I can see it...?  Maybe?  Is it in the finish or in the wood?  Can you tell how deep?  If it's superficial, super glue makes a great filler/ hardener & can be coated with another finish, or simply polished once dry.  If it's very deep/ into the wood, then the structural integrity has been compromised, and who knows?  At that point, a glued-in biscuit/ dowel fix would be a good insurance policy.
