Refrigerate URC 185 Glue

Is it best to put URC 185 Glue that has been open in a refrigerator to store it, or leave it on the shelf? My last quart lasted about 9 months on the shelf and the last 2 inches of glue turned hard.

I keep mine in the fridge when not used, seems to help double its shelf life.

Thanks Guys, I just wanted to be sure. It made sense to me, but other things in life has made sense to me and turned out to be very wrong.
