I seen one a guy wrapped in snapping turtle that was awsome but don't have any pics.

stingray is like rawhide covered in sandpaper.lol some grippy stuff. in use on sword handles the sharp parts on top of the scales are sanded off, then its soaked in water and put on and left to dry to the desired shape.

I favor a single wrap overlap, or ribbon wrap tucked on both ends, both scived for flush fit and an arrow shelf built up from a leather pad glued underneather depending upon the context.  Mostly cuz I don't stitch worth crap.  ;-)  And I should credit Joe Dawn for being my inspriration and unwitting mentor on the ribbon wrap and sciving thing.

I've answered you twice Getstoned, unless I'm just going crazy, but don't see either of my previous posts.  No I don't sell.  Maybe that's an admin trigger word.  I won't describe the bows again in this third try, same reason.
