Tiller Check Please

Well, first red oak board bow following 4est trekker's build-along.  Trying to post pic.  We'll see how I do.  If it's too big, Mod's please feel free to adjust or delete.  Thanks!

Well, today is a good day.  I didn't break my bow and I learned how to re-size and post pics!

Looks to me like both limbs are the same strength. The left limb has less bend mid-limb than the right, but it's not extreme.

I'm no expert bow builder, I just have an eye for symmetry (developed from drawing). If I were making that same bow, I would be happy with that result.

Looks pretty good to me.  I'd draw her a little farther, if you aren't at weight yet.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

i agree with these guys looks pretty good , id keep inching it toward full draw and weight. tillering gizmos help alot when final tillering, they pick up  what our eyes miss.

Jeremy, are you still on a long string? If so brace it low, about 4" with a regular string. From where you are now you will get bad readings from the long string because the leverage and angle of pull are different.
 So far it looks real good!

Thanks for the heads up Pat!  I've got a short string on the way.  I suppose I could shorten up the long though...  I'll try and keep everyone posted!  Whoo Hoo!
