refinish'in .........

bought 2 recurves of of ****  ......... was want'in opinions on refinish'in ........... he wood riser i was think'in of using gloss laquer after sand'in old finish off ...... what do ya use on the fiberglass .... paint? ..... certain kinda paint? ....... any advise would be 'preciated ........ thanks ........

Chris, get some spray Spar Urathane, Minwax makes it, it will finish the whole bow. Just don't sand the fiberglass too much.

Hey Chris,I'm with Dano on the finish.

Go easy around the decals on limbs and writing on riser if you want to save it . Maybe lightly steel wool it??

thanks Kenny ......not exactly a rookie with finish'in wood but wanted to do it right the first time ....... and lord knows i never can do everything right the first time ....... just ask my 1st wife ......... really,thanks guys..... will go with the spar urathane ...........
