I don't normally do a skinner knife because it doesn't lend itself to other jobs...but I saw a skinner at the GSM Hammer In that was pretty cool.  Combined with the shape of an Ulu, this is my prototype.  The spine has an aggressive file line almost to the tip to give a great grip with the thumb or first finger on top.  It will stay as a Bare Bone Blade till it proves it's worth.  1084 eight inches OAL with a four inch blade.  My forge has been burning propane...4 days/4 knives.  I forgot how much fun one can have with a hammer...tippit

That's a really cool looking skinner. I might round over the jimping a bit though......those are almost saw teeth   :scared:   . My thumb is wincing a bit just looking at it   :D
