Burt called me two days before I was leaving for Denton asking what this ETAR thing was all about.  I had sent him and his kids a bow back in the spring to get them started in traditional archery.  Well it happened to be Burt's B'day and he decided to come at the last minute.  Luckily he found a cancelation for Fri & Sat at a motel in Coudersport. I shot on Saturday with the family having a great time then took Burt to try all sorts of Vendors bows plus introducing him to a bunch of guys that were eager to trade for one of his knives.  I think he and his kids are hooked...tippit

Thats great. Do you have any pics? I hope Burt enjoyed it and continues to enjoy it.
If I made bows I would jump at the chance to barter with Burt for a knife.

Jeff, that is fantastic, buddy!
It will be great to welcome him into the fold next time I see him.
Good job.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

I ended up meeting Burt there this past weekend.  It was great to talk to him about his knifes and how he puts everything together from his belts to his blades.  It was definitely one of my highlights of the trip to be able to talk to him and to check out a few of the blades that he brought!  I will have one before the end of the year!
